You’ve Been Boo’d – Free Printable

I’ve been determined to find creative ways to prevent Covid from ruining Halloween this year. We decided to pass on trick-or-treating due to safety concerns, but I still wanted to find a way to spread some Halloween cheer around my neighborhood.

I’ve seen this “You’ve Been Boo’d” trend floating around Instagram and fell in love with the concept. If you’ve never seen this or have no idea what “Boo’ing” is, let me explain:

• You fill up a goodie bag with Halloween treats.
• Print out the below “You’ve Been Boo’d” and “We’ve Been Boo’d” tags.
• Add both tags inside your goodie bag.
• Find a house, ring the doorbell, leave your goodie bag and run! The best part is that the goodie bags are a complete surprise!

Once your neighbor opens up their goodie bag, they’ll place the “We’ve Been Boo’d” sign in their window/door and hopefully return the favor by surprising someone else. I absolutely love pay it forward games! I decided to create my own FREE printables so that you can take part in this game with your neighbors too!

Nori and I had so much fun Boo’ing our neighbors! I love giving back and hope these bags helped spread some cheer, especially to those who have decided to pass on trick-or-treating this year!

Tip: When Boo’ing, I like to include a ziplock bag with a few extra copies of the instructions and signs already printed off to make it easier for the neighbor to pass it on. This is completely optional, but can be extremely helpful and thoughtful.
