As a parent, I find myself wrestling with so many emotions about the current state of the world. I can’t help but feel a weight in my heart for the future my daughter will grow up in.

But in 2025, as we step into our new home, I want to create a foundation that’s steady and rooted in something lasting. I’m covering the very base of our home in scriptures, layering words of hope, strength, and peace into the walls that will surround us.

For my daughter, I want her to know that no matter what’s happening around us in the world, we’re covered. Covered in faith, surrounded by love, and supported by a foundation that won’t shake. Here’s to building not just a home, but a place of peace and protection. 🕊️

Let’s make a life-size Jurassic Park Gate for trunk-or-treat 🦖✨

I created this last year for Nori’s preschool + thought I’d share for anyone looking for a trunk-or-teat idea. This would also work great for a dinosaur themed party too!

Most items were purchased at @homedepot, @dollartree + @amazon and it was under $40 to make. Be sure to give me a tag if you try this out!

Materials:
+ boxes: (2) large, (2) medium, (2) small, (2) extra small
+ 2 tri-fold foam boards
+ 6 LED tealight candles
+ 6 metal vases
+ cardboard for sign
+ black, white and brown paint
+ yellow, orange and red foam
+ detailed knife
+ vinyl for sign
+ paint brushes
+ hot glue gun
