Nori has been asking for a fridge to go along with her play kitchen for awhile now, but I couldn’t find anything that wasn’t either overpriced or too plain.

I came across this fridge at @target by @hearthandhandwithtarget and knew it would make the perfect addition to her kitchen.

I decided not only to paint it, but also make a few small changes to give it a more realistic vibe. Everything used can be found in the “fridge hack” highlight. 🤎

It’s officially @elfontheshelf season in our household. I start the day after Thanksgiving + it always gives Nori something exciting to look forward to after the holiday.

Last year for her elf’s arrival, I did a scavenger hunt with a small gift from the North Pole. Nori talked non-stop all year about how fun that was, so I knew I had to do it again.

This took me about 30 minutes to set up + the gift was under $3 from @target. What I love most about the scavenger hunt is that it encourages reading and problem-solving.

As a parent, I find myself wrestling with so many

As a parent, I find myself wrestling with so many emotions about the current state of the world. I can’t help but feel a weight in my heart for the future my daughter will grow up in.

But in 2025, as we step into our new home, I want to create a foundation that’s steady and rooted in something lasting. I’m covering the very base of our home in scriptures, layering words of hope, strength, and peace into the walls that will surround us.

For my daughter, I want her to know that no matter what’s happening around us in the world, we’re covered. Covered in faith, surrounded by love, and supported by a foundation that won’t shake. Here’s to building not just a home, but a place of peace and protection. 🕊️
