As protest continue to take place across the world calling for justice, I have been asked by many – “What role can I play?”, “How can I help?”. There are countless ways you can make a difference, from signing petitions, making donations, or simply using your platform to share information you’ve found to help drive change. Today I want to touch on one of the many ways you can show support by shopping through Black-owned businesses.
I’ve gathered a list of 500+ Black-owned brands and creators for you – some that are near and dear to my heart, and others that I’m excited to support for the first time. This is a running list that I will continue to add to as I come across new businesses. Feel free to comment your favorite Black-owned brand or creator below for me to check out and add.
I encourage all of my readers to make a conscious effort to shop Black-owned both now and in the future. Seek out and support Black-owned businesses in your community. As buyers, you have the power to better distribute wealth in America and effect long-term change. We are in this together.
